Assemblies

Whole school assemblies are held once every three weeks. Year level assemblies may also be held once every three weeks. An assembly timetable is on display in the staff room. Buddy classes are rostered to take turns to organise and run assemblies, which have a high level of student input. Whole School Assemblies are a forum for achievement awards (Good Thinking Awards), class performances and sharing of information.

Whole school assemblies are not usually the forum display of an individual student’s work. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend Assemblies, which are advertised through the newsletter. Generally parents try to attend if they have a child in the class that is presenting the Assembly.
